We can not emphasize enough the importance of a good Pointe shoe fitting. An improper Pointe shoe is not only uncomfortable but dangerous for the dancer. That is why we strongly recommend you call and make an appointment for your Pointe shoe fitting to ensure you get the attention that you deserve. With our commitment to a proper fitting we only authorize qualified staff to fit Pointe shoes. A good fitting Pointe shoe is the first step to having a safe and enjoyable experience en pointe.
Prepare For Your Pointe Shoe Fitting
*Make an appointment if possible.
*Have your toenails cut short and blisters and sores bandaged.
*If you have been en Pointe before, bring in your current pair.
*Bring your toe pads if you already have them.
*Wear convertible tights.
*Be patient, first time fittings can last anywhere from 30 minutes to
one and a half hours.
*Enjoy the experience. Keep in mind what is good for the feet of the
dancer next to you, may not be good for you. So we suggest you not
choose a shoe based on brand, color or style.
